Union Pacific presented the Pinnacle Award to 138 companies that demonstrate industry-leading safety performance. The annual recognition is awarded to customers who implement rigorous release prevention protocols, maintain corrective action plans, and achieve zero non-accident releases of regulated chemical shipments.

The railroad’s Hazardous Materials Safety team supports customers through training programs, railcar inspections, and a comprehensive approach focused on prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery.
