🌾 Turning a Desert into a Place of Hope 

In a part of Phoenix known as a food desert, our Tessenderlo Kerley team rolled up their sleeves at the Orchard Community Learning Center to help create a two-acre garden that will provide fresh, healthy food for local families! From clearing vegetation and spreading mulch to leveling the ground, every effort was fueled by the belief that everyone should have access to proper nutrition.

We believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of mobility!

That’s why our team members partnered with the Creighton Community Foundation to create a wheelchair-accessible zone at the Thrive and Grow Garden in Phoenix. This special area is part of the therapeutic adaptive section of the garden, designed to bring healing and connection to all who visit. Our volunteers poured their hearts into building pathways, assembling raised garden beds and planting vegetation that represented different Arizona regions. Each step was taken with care, inclusion and the belief that accessibility should never be limited.

Safety + Service = A Winning Team! 🚲

During a recent safety meeting at our Fresno, CA plant, our incredible team members took teamwork to the next level! They divided into three teams and challenged each other to build bicycles and create cozy no-sew blankets - all to be donated to Poverello House, which provides temporary housing and emergency shelter for those in need in the Fresno area. The first team to finish their challenge and pass inspection earned bragging rights as the winners - but of course, everyone walked away a champion, as the challenge reinforced the importance of taking care of each other, both on the job and in the cities we serve.

"Giving back" can mean many things. For us, it means showing up with open hearts and helping make a difficult time of year for those in need a bit brighter.

During the holiday season, we had the privilege to partner with Desert Mission Food Bank in Phoenix for its annual Adopt a Family event - and what a day it was! From welcoming donors, to sorting and tagging gifts, every moment was filled with joy and purpose!

We saw smiles that could light up the season and felt gratitude that warmed our hearts. 💖 To everyone who made this day possible: thank you for reminding us what "giving back" is all about!

This holiday season, our Jupiter Sulphur team in Ponca City, Oklahoma came together to feed bodies and spirits. Partnering with United Way, they worked to make sure families in our community can gather around tables filled with nourishment, laughter and love. ✨

Creating Smiles and Holiday Magic in the Pacific Northwest! ❄️

In the chilly winter air, our Finley, Washington team warmed hearts by partnering with Toys for Tots to donate 70 toys - because every child deserves something magical under the tree! 🎄✨

But the kindness didn’t stop there: The Finley team also teamed up with Meals on Wheels to bring nourishment and comfort to those who need it most, proving that the true spirit of the season is love in action. 💙
