Better Potential for Soil-Applied Chemicals

Solmenda soil ammendment

You’ve prepared well.

Your expertise has determined the right rate, time, and place for the most appropriate fertilizers and pesticides for your fields.

But will your soil thwart those efforts?

You may benefit from a soil amendment that loosens your soil, which ultimately may improve aeration, and dispersion of other soil inputs. Solmenda®, a soil amendment that provides plant-available calcium and sulfur, also leaches away excessive salts. This leaching process creates soil aggregates that result in a looser, more porous soil. A more porous soil is more receptive to water, air and ultimately applied agricultural chemicals.

Boost Input Impact

Certain agricultural products rely on soil mobility and penetration to maximize effectiveness and supplementing your soil with Solmenda® may allow these chemicals to reach their potential. Soil-applied pesticides, such as metam sodium, along with certain fertilizers may benefit from enhanced soil penetration and dispersion. Solmenda may be used in combination with other chemical products and may be especially valuable in assisting product movement in calcareous and other difficult-to-penetrate soils. Always use the recommended label rate of Solmenda per acre in combination with labeled rates of other soil-applied agricultural chemicals that allow such applications.

Always read and follow label instructions.
