As the HSE Manager, you will lead the HSE team and help improve the organization through HSE excellence and continuous development.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to lead our efforts in ensuring safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.
This role is based at our production site in Ham, part of the Tessenderlo Kerley Business Unit of Tessenderlo Group.
Responsibilities
- Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders & be able to influence.
- Motivate your colleagues and imbed excellent safety behaviors.
- Lead by example – live & breathe our safety first approach and uphold high standards.
- Have accountability for risk assessments, accident / incident investigations and the sharing of best practice initiatives.
- Identify areas of weakness and produce & deliver improvement plans.
- Remain competent in H&S legislation & best practice to ensure compliance.
- Train, influence and provide technical expertise to the operational teams.
- Analyse leading and lagging performance trends to develop appropriate response plans to improve safety compliance and outcomes.
Profile
- You are a strong leader with 10-15 years of experience in a management position and a passion for improving safety and environmental processes. You have experience leading teams and driving change.
- You possess strong empathy and persuasion skills, which are essential for creating a culture of safety and responsibility. You have a results-oriented approach and can work both independently and as part of a team.
- You have the ability to work effectively within a matrix structure and can network well to promote collaboration across departments.
- You have in-depth knowledge and experience in implementing continuous improvement processes and operational excellence within a chemical production environment.
- You ideally hold a diploma as a Safety Advisor and/or Environmental Coordinator.
