‘Helping Hands for the Holidays’ Delivers Needed Support for Families & Neighbors Across North America
Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Tessenderlo Kerley’s commitment to giving back is a year-round effort. But at the end of each year, that spirit shines even brighter as employees across North America come together to uplift their communities through Tessenderlo Kerley’s annual Helping Hands for the Holidays initiative.
During the 2025 holiday season, each of Tessenderlo Kerley’s facilities partnered with a local charity to support families, children, seniors and neighbors in need, bringing forward nourishment, joy and hope at a time it’s needed most.
“Our employees don’t just work in these communities; they’re part of them,” said Executive Vice President Russell Sides. “Seeing every facility come together to lift up families and spread hope during the holidays makes me incredibly proud. Their generosity is a powerful reminder of the positive difference we can make when we act together.”
Fighting Food Insecurity & Supporting Local Pantries
Many of Tessenderlo Kerley’s teams across the country focused on ensuring families in their communities could gather around warm, comforting holiday meals.
In Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Carlsbad, New Mexico, employees partnered with United Way to help local families fill their tables with food and joy. The Tiger-Sul team in Atmore, Alabama, strengthened support for their neighbors by donating food through the Atmore Area Christian Care Ministry.
In California’s San Joaquin Valley, the Hanford team contributed to a holiday food drive supporting Lemoore Christian Aid, while employees in Burley, Idaho helped families access meals through the Mountain View Center food drive. The team in Wynnewood, Oklahoma supported the Eastern Gate Food Pantry, and in Coffeyville, Kansas, employees reinforced community support through The Salvation Army’s food pantry.
Further east, the Tiger-Sul corporate office in Shelton, Connecticut helped relieve holiday burdens by donating to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. North of the border, the Irricana, Alberta Tiger-Sul team collected food items for the Irricana Food Bank and funded fresh food boxes through the Bieseker Fresh Market, ensuring families across the region enjoyed proper nutrition during the holidays.
Bringing Holiday Magic to Children & Families
Many of Tessenderlo Kerley’s facilities centered their efforts on brightening the holidays for children through toys, gifts, and meaningful seasonal programs.
In Finley, Washington, employees donated to Toys for Tots while also extending kindness to local seniors through Meals on Wheels. The Learning Center in Dinuba, California supported Open Gate Ministries’ toy and food drive, ensuring families experienced both nourishment and joy.
In East Dubuque, Illinois, employees fulfilled angel tree wishes for a family of three through the Magical Kwik Stop Christmas program, and in Fresno, California, the team partnered with FresYes Realtors to deliver angel tree gifts that made children’s holiday wishes come true.
In Eufaula, Alabama, employees supported the 38th Annual Christmas Project in partnership with the Eufaula Police Department by donating toys and games for local children. The Michaud, Idaho team brought magic to young shoppers by joining the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office for its annual Shop with a Cop event.
Farther north, the team at Jupiter Sulphur in Billings, Montana, collected toys and food for The Salvation Army to spread warmth across the community. In Hanford, California, employees continued a tradition of generosity by partnering with Toys for Tots to ensure children awoke to gifts under the tree.
Supporting Literacy, Seniors & Community Well-Being
Beyond food and toys, employees stepped up to support literacy, senior wellbeing and essential needs across their communities.
At the Phoenix corporate office, teams partnered with United Way to create Bookina-Bag kits, decorating bags and filling them with children’s books to spark a love of reading. In Washington, the Finley team extended its impact through additional Meals on Wheels outreach, reminding seniors they are cared for and remembered.
In Defiance, Ohio, employees addressed an often overlooked need by collecting and donating hygiene products through Raven’s Care, offering dignity, comfort and reassurance to neighbors in crisis.
A Tradition Rooted in Community
From Connecticut to California, from Alberta to Alabama, each act of generosity reflected Tessenderlo Kerley’s core belief that the communities it serves are part of its family - and during the holidays, family takes care of one another.
Tessenderlo Kerley is committed to continuing this tradition of service, strengthening the places its employees call home and carrying this spirit of compassion into the year ahead.
